During an interview on BBC's Radio Four program in the United Kingdom, John Schnatter, said, "you can't eat five or six slices."

Papa John's, the UK's third-biggest pizza delivery operator, with 118 outlets, said yesterday that it had enjoyed a 60 per cent jump in comparable sales on Monday, as one in five of us opted to take a “snow day” rather than struggle in to work. Pizza Hut reported a 20 per cent increase in online orders, while the day before was its second-busiest Sunday on record - despite the need to withdraw some of its mopeds from service because of rider safety concerns.

John Schnatter founded Papa John's in 1984, in the broom closet of his father's tavern in Jeffersonville, Ind.

Papa John’s International, Inc. (NASDAQ: PZZA) today announced that its Board of Directors has named John H. Schnatter, the Company’s Founder and Chairman, as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Schnatter succeeds Nigel Travis, who has served as Papa John’s President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors since 2005.
