Seven residents file for FRHSD appointment
Seven residents of Marlboro have submitted their names and are seeking to be appointed to an open seat on the Freehold Regional High School District Board of Education.
The seat for a Marlboro representative became open earlier this month when Katie Goon resigned from the board. Goon was elected to the seat in April 2008 but served less than one year of a three-year term.
FRHSD looking for solar panels to help save money

The Freehold Regional High School District has been approved for $1.8 million in rebates from the New Jersey Clean Energy Program for the installation of solar photovoltaic panels at Manalapan, Marlboro, Freehold Township and Howell high schools.
The rebates and promotions are provided through the New Jersey Smart Start Building Programs.
