DOODLE FOR GOOGLE
This morning Google announced their second annual Doodle 4 Google contest for kids. Google Doodles are the special “dressed-up” versions of the Google logo that run for special events and holidays.
Not only will the winning child have his or her artwork displayed on the Google homepage for hundreds of millions of viewers to admire, that child will also win a college scholarship, and a technology grant for their school. As the winner, or one of 40 finalists, he or she will also get see to see the work in a special exhibit at the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.
